A Unique Flavor The truffle has a round shape, though its appearance depends on the soil it grows in. Known for its strong yet delicate aroma, the Tuber melanosporum is highly valued by chefs worldwide. Its flavor is unforgettable, and although its natural imperfections may appear due to harvesting by trained dogs, they do not affect its quality.
Packaging and Storage To ensure freshness, the truffle is vacuum-sealed with moisture-absorbing paper, then wrapped for cold chain protection and shipped with an ice pack in a cardboard box. Once received, it’s best to unwrap and refrigerate the truffle wrapped in kitchen paper.
